Latest: a new author has contributed to my children's book: Short and Tall. This is Ann Perry. She is an excellent up-and-coming writer, as well as a poet and I hope to be helping her publish in the future.
Also, I have decided to sell Verse for Ages for charity. Have approached Sue Ryder and sent them a copy of the book, but if they don't show interest, will send to another charity. I know this is a very good way to sell poetry books, as proved to me by my brother-in-law, Andy, who is currently selling The Ipswich Bus for that same charity.
I really need more people to fill in my contact form on this website. You don't need to tell your life history - just your email will do.
Lotsa love
Bernie (for Bronwyn) xx

Why do you suppose I write quizzes? Well mostly they're for my local Pop-in club that is for pensioners and it helps to keep their brains in gear (as well as mine). But apart from that, I think my quizzes are very useful to writers, especially those about proverbs, cliches and general knowledge. One day I intend to put all of these into a book, but in the meantime, I don't mind anyone using any one of my quizzes at their own parties, clubs, or just for fun. I can always write more, and still do all the time. So please enjoy http://www.bronwynbooks.co.uk

Went out today for the first time since having 'man flu 'and subsequent bronchitis. Got to library exactly one minute after 4pm, so library was closed and I was desperate for something to read. So carried on to charity shop and got 3 books for 99p - Yay! I know this is not supposed to be good for authors and, as an author myself, I entirely agree that these books are worth much more than that, but someone somewhere must have liked these books enough to pass them on, and when I have read them, I will pass them on too. I always buy books from my fave authors, usually from Amazon, but when I am totally boracic, like now, I will get books any way I can - BECAUSE I NEED TO READ.

Bernie's Blog Monday 6th March 2017
Hello and welcome to all my readers, fellow authors and anyone else who just happens along. The last time I tried to post here was on Wednesday March 1st and it did not appear, so I must have done something wrong. It was only to say 'Happy St David's Day and that I now have 3 authors called David, one of whom is also a cover artist and works freelance for BE occasionally.
